Anal ointment is used for the treatment of complaints around the anus, so-called peri-anal complaints. It is a common condition: one in three adults suffers from it. Usually it involves itching and irritated, damaged skin.
Perianal ointment can be used to treat:
- anal itch
- eczema around the anus
- superficial and infected sores around the anus
- anal fissures (anus fissures)
- complaints due to hemorrhoids
