Anal ointment is used for the treatment of complaints around the anus, so-called peri-anal complaints. It is a common condition: one in three adults suffers from it. Usually it involves itching and irritated, damaged skin.

Perianal ointment can be used to treat:

• eczema around the anus
• superficial and infected sores around the anus
• anal fissures (anus fissures)
• complaints due to hemorrhoids
